Adult Bible Electives

Life is full of stresses and struggles. We believe God's Word has the answers to today's largest concerns. Our ABE's offer a variety of topics so you can find one that fits you. They are designed to help adults discover answers to life's most pressing questions through the application of Biblical truth. The Bible is at the core of our curriculum and fellowship is at the core of our activities. In addition to our Adult Bible Elective Classes, we have classes for children and teens as well. A well-staffed nursery is available during all services. Here is a current list of Bible Electives:

The Proverbs Woman - Teacher Edythe Leith - Ladies class

The Ladies class will study the book of Proverbs. We will learn how to use God’s wisdom in order to handle life’s issues and make wise decisions. The book of Proverbs gives detailed instructions to God’s people on how to deal with the practical affairs of everyday life.

Hole in the Gospel – Taught by Janine Guadagno (starts Mar. 14) - Ladies class

Is something missing from our understanding of the gospel? Using Richard Stearn’s text The Hole in our Gospel, we take a fresh look at the gospel to gain a deeper understanding of our faith and how I do my part in demonstrating God’s love for a hurting world.

God in America -- Taught by Lou Warren

This DVD course by David Barton should be mandatory for every Christian citizen to gain a true perspective of our godly heritage. Today’s revisionist history with errors and omissions of our true history is presently being taught in our public schools, colleges and even in some Christian schools. Actual quotes from our nations’ founders, excerpts from our documents, and policies carried out by our government in the early years reveal the real beliefs and intentions of our founding fathers. Every believer has a responsibility to pass on to subsequent generations the true spiritual foundations on which our country was founded.

College and Career -- Taught by Todd Terpstra and Ernie Floegel

This class is designed for those who are college and post-college age. We will study practical life lessons from the book of Proverbs. Come build relationships and learn together.

Young Mother Class -- Taught by Michele Weight (concludes May 30)

A Sunday School class where mothers of young children can study God’s word while encouraging each other to be the wives, mothers, and Christians God has called them to be.

Iron Sharpens Iron -- Taught by Tom Weight (concludes May 30)

Men’s Sunday School class designed to help young husbands and fathers to be the spiritual leaders God has called them to be. The intent is to encourage one another and keep each other accountable through God’s word.
