Tabernacle Children’s Ministry

The spiritual training of children is very important. It is our desire to assist families in this spiritual formation process and have designed ministries for all ages with this in mind.

Nursery/Toddler

Our nurseries are well staffed, nurturing areas for infants through toddles. Children ages 2-5 will enjoy our highly-interactive classes, designed just for them!

Pre-School

The pre-school years are years of DISCOVERY for all children. In our children’s classes we help them in these discoveries! Each week they will hear a different Bible story, followed by age-appropriate activities designed to help them learn more about what God has to say in His Word. Our goal is to point all children toward Jesus. We want to help children DISCOVER a personal trust and relationship with Christ and know how a relationship with Him and His truth affects their everyday life.

Grade School Age (K-5th Grade)

Grade school children from 1st-5th grades can participate in classes that include life-related lessons from God's Word. Each child is encouraged in their spiritual life through Sunday School, Children's Church and Body Builders.

Classes we offer:

Sunday Morning Children Ministries

Every Sunday we have specific ministries for children of all ages. Beginning at 9:30 we have Sunday School. In these classes, children learn about the Bible and how they can live differently in today’s world. At 10:30 we have Children’s Church which is an excellent time for kids from pre-K through 5th grade. They have a chance to learn together, play together and build relationships with other kids their ages.

Body Builders

Body Builders is a ministry for children from age 3 years old through the 5th grade. Each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:00pm children gather for a wonderful hour of fun designed just for them! Body Builders is a ministry which combines hobbies and skills with the development of spiritual disciplines to create an exciting learning experience. Each Wednesday evening your child will be instructed in a life skill while being taught some Biblical truth so they leave knowing something about life and something about God. Some of the hobbies in which your child may participate include karate, self-defense, crafts, sewing, games, hospitality and more.
